Characteristics of the Northsky blueberry plant
Northsky is a low-growing blueberry variety that belongs to the so-called semi-high varieties. These plants are particularly hardy, very compact (approximately 30–45 cm high), and therefore ideal for cultivation in colder regions or in locations where traditional highbush varieties perform less well.
The berries are medium-sized, a beautiful light blue color, and have a sweet, aromatic flavor. Northsky produces a reliable harvest in the early to mid-season, with berries that are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. Thanks to its sturdy plant structure and compact shape, this variety is also low-maintenance and ideal for smaller plots, pot culture, hobby cultivation, and landscaping applications.
Northsky is known for its extreme frost resistance (down to –35 °C), making it one of the most robust blueberry varieties available.
